Summer is here, and in the "retail world" that means summer shows and buying for the holidays. Here at Nancy's Attic, that also means clearing out the "old" to make room for the "new"! We have lots of merchandise on sale ~ furniture pieces, lamps ~ many with homemade shades, clocks, vases and urns, dishes, and more. There's a table of 50% off and shelves of items marked 75% off.

A "truckload" of new items from my woodworker, will be arriving soon! For those of you looking for unususal small tables, chest of drawers, drop-leaf tables, desks, toy chests, jewelry boxes, coat racks, birdhouses, and more ~ they're coming ~ all at reasonable prices.

We're gearing up for our annual Feast of Lanterns the last week of July. The town is decorated with lanterns of all kinds, honoring this long time tradition. We will again have lanterns for sale, as well as many "trinkets and decorative items" to help you celebrate and entertain during the festivities. Fabric and soap shaped fortune cookies, fans, parasols, stationery, and dolls ~ are just a few of the many things we'll have on hand. They go quickly, so plan on shopping early!

Welcome to our new photographer, Carol Koceja! Carol's photos of our beloved Monterey Peninsula come in a variety of subject matter ~ nature, wildlife, historical sites, and more. We are now highlighting her collection of Carmel Mission photos, honoring Father Junipero Serra ~ the Founder's Day Celebration held in June.

"Something Old" arrivals include a beautiful collection of Flow Blue from England, and Gold Encrusted Crystal by Glastonbury. An old hat box and suitcase in mint condition--(original keys included!) are a find indeed. An antique white wicker bassinett on wheels awaits some lucky baby!
